Traeger Prime Rib With Horseradish Cream

Traeger Prime Rib With Horseradish Cream
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 240 minutes
Difficulty Rating: 2/5

Main Ingredient
One 3- 4-rib prime rib, cut from the small end, 6 to 8 pounds

Secondary Ingredients
Traeger Prime Rib or Beef Rub, or equal parts of kosher salt and coarsely ground black pepper
Granulated garlic (optional)
Horseradish Cream (recipe follows)
You'll also need: Large roasting pan with a meat rack; butcher's string

Preperation Steps
Allow the roast to come to room temperature before grilling. Tie it at intervals with butcher's string. (This keeps it from separating along the inner fat line as it cooks.) Season the roast well with the Traeger Prime Rib or Beef Rub, or the salt/pepper mixture. Sprinkle with the granulated garlic, if desired. Use your fingers to pat the seasonings into the meat. Place the meat rack in the roasting pan; put the roast, bone-side down and uncovered, on the rack.

When ready to cook, start the Traeger grill on Smoke with the lid open until the fire is established (4 to 5 minutes). Set the temperature to 450 degrees F and preheat, lid closed, for 10 to 15 minutes. Roast for 30 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 325 degrees F, and continue to cook until the internal temperature in the thickest part of the meat reads 130 degrees F (for medium-rare) as read on a meat thermometer. (Figure on roughly 18 to 20 minutes per pound total cooking time.)

Allow the prime rib to rest for 20 minutes. Remove the butcher's string. Transfer the meat to a large cutting board. With a sharp knife, carve off the rack of bones and put them aside for gnawing. Slice the meat and serve immediately with the Horseradish Cream (see below).

Horseradish Cream: Combine 1-1/2 cups sour cream, 1/4 cup prepared horseradish (or more to taste), 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.

Broken Arrow Pride 2010 ZO Bicycle

This is one of the 60 bicycles used in the 2010 Broken Arrow Pride Marching Band Show ZO inspired by the Wizard of Oz. This bicycle was actually used in the performances in the fall of 2010 in an OBA State Championship, BOA Super Regional Championship and a 2nd Place finish in BOA Grand National Championship. These bicycles were disassembled by the Broken Arrow Band Parents, out-fitted with a holder for a color guard flag and larger kickstand pad for artificial turf, powder coated red, and reassembled.

This Bicycle will be auctioned off with the proceeds being donated to the Broken Arrow Music Department. Most of these bicycles have been purchased by band members and a there are only a few that will be available to the public. This is a used bicycle and will have some scratches, rubs, minor rust spots, from use in the 2010 marching season.

Look around at some of the most followed and well respected Twitter users out there – they are promoting others far more than they promote themselves. This builds community and trust, and allows them to promote themselves once in a while and actually have someone listen.

5. They Are Interactive

6. They are “Goldilocks” Tweeters
Much like the fairy tail of Goldilocks, effective Twitter users know that there is a “just right” amount of Tweets. They aren’t bombarding their following, yet they have a presence.
7. They Never “Flame" Other Users
In the land of “follow-unfollow” effective Twitter users never get into verbal altercations with a follower. If someone is doing or saying something they don’t agree with, they just hit that “unfollow” button and move on.
